ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Once safety DaNorris Searcy and the Buffalo Bills defence chased Cleveland Browns starter Brian Hoyer, they werent going to let Johnny Manziel change the outcome.Searcy intercepted Hoyer twice, defensive end Jerry Hughes scored on an 18-yard fumble return and tackle Kyle Williams forced Manziel to throw a key incompletion in the final minutes to secure a 26-10 win over the Browns on Sunday. It didnt change too much, said Searcy, of the Bills approach after Manziel took over with 12:01 left. Coming on the field, we knew he was in there. We just told each other to look for (bootlegs).Coach Doug Marrone was more relieved by how the Bills overcame a sloppy first half.Buffalo took control by scoring touchdowns 10 seconds apart midway through the third quarter. Kyle Orton bounced back from two interceptions by throwing a 3-yard touchdown pass to Chris Hogan. And then Hughes returned Terrance Wests fumble on the Browns next play from scrimmage.I concentrate on my own team, Marrone said, when asked about Manziel. Theres not a lot of film on him, so youve got to see how he plays.Manziel did provide an initial spark in enjoying his most significant playing time of the season, and in his first appearance since a 23-21 loss to Baltimore in Week 3. The rookie first-round pick capped an eight-play, 80-yard drive with a 10-yard touchdown run that cut the Bills lead to 20-10.The Bills then put the clamps on Manziel on Clevelands next possession. Williams got in Manziels face and forced what was initially ruled a fumble before a replay review ruled it an incomplete pass. The Browns then gave up the ball on downs on the next play, when Manziel completed a 5-yard pass to Miles Austin on fourth-and-6.And just like that, the Bills (7-5) are still very much alive in a jumbled AFC playoff picture. And the Browns (7-5) had a dent put in their playoff hopes. Cleveland now trails Cincinnati (8-3-1) by 1 1/2 games in the AFC North, and suddenly faces questions at quarterback.Coach Mike Pettine, who spent last season as the Bills defensive co-ordinator, said its too early to tell who will start against Indianapolis next week.Im not going to put it all on Brian, Pettine said of Hoyer, who has now thrown six interceptions in his past three starts. Sometimes you just need change for the sake of change. Well scope it out to a staff decision, and well make the evaluation.Hoyer insisted that this is still my team, but acknowledged the decision is out of his hands.Im never going to hang my head and feel sorry for myself, he said. We have four games and whatever coach decides to do, Ill be here to support this team.As for Manziel, he capped a tumultuous nine-day stretch. It began with him being confronted during an altercation with an aggressive fan in the lobby of his apartment last weekend. And now theres a chance he could be in line to start.Thats up to coach Pettine, Manziel said. But if that is the case, and my name is called, I definitely will be ready.Neither team seemed ready in a game that featured a sloppy first half that ended with the Browns up 3-0 on Billy Cundiffs 22-yard field goal.Cundiff missed on a 37-yard attempt wide right, and Hoyer threw an interception at midfield with 62 seconds left. The Bills failed to capitalize when Carpenters 53-yard attempt was blocked by Joe Haden. Orton got off to a tough start, too, after being intercepted in the end zone by Jim Leonhard. After Orton and Hughes put Buffalo up 14-3, Carpenter secured the win by hitting all four field goal attempts in the fourth quarter. The Bills were back home after a severe snowstorm forced them to relocate to Detroit, where they routed the New York Jets 38-3 last Monday night. With temperatures in the mid-50s on Sunday, there were only a few remnants of the 6-plus-feet of snow that fell on the Buffalo region. Its great. We wanted to come out and win for the fans, Searcy said. They werent able to be with us on Monday night, so to have a game back in (Orchard Park), and get a win for them was good.NOTES: Austin was taken to a hospital for precautionary reasons after experiencing what the team called abdominal discomfort following the game. ... Browns WR Josh Gordon had seven catches for 75 yards in his second game since serving a 10-game NFL suspension for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. ... Cheap Steph Curry Shoes . PETERSBURG, Fla. ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders expect to have starting right tackle Tony Pashos back for Sundays game against the Houston Texans. Pashos missed four of the last five games with a hip flexor and has been limited in practice this week while splitting reps with rookie Menelik Watson. Coach Dennis Allen, however, hinted that Pashos likely will start and Pashos later confirmed it. That would be a big boost for the Raiders, who have allowed 36 sacks this season and will be facing one of the leagues premier pass-rushers in Texans defensive end J.J. Watt. "Hes as advertised," Pashos said Thursday. "For such a young guy, hes doing a lot of great things in this league. You have to be on youre A game. You have to be at your best." Oaklands offensive line has been banged up since training camp when starting left tackle Jared Veldheer suffered a torn triceps and was placed on the designated to return/injured reserve list. Veldheer practiced this week for the first time since then but has yet to be activated to the 53-man roster. Centre Stefen Wisniewski has also missed time while injured, as has his backup and one-time starting left guard Andre Gurode. Pashos, who signed with the team six days before the season opener, just shook his head. "Weve been plugging and going and guys have answered the bell," said Pashos. "We were warming up tight ends at right tackle, so think about that. (Offensive line coach Tony Sparano) has done an unreal job and still does it to this day." The Raiders have had three different players start at right tackle, including Pashos, Watson and undrafted rookie Matt McCants. Khalif Barnes was penciled in as the starter before the season but was moved to left tackle after Veldheer got hurt. Oakland has had a bit of a revolving door on the right side since then. Pashos started the first four games before his injury. McCants, who also wasnt on the Raiders roster when the team broke training camp, made thrree starts in Pashos absence but sat out last weeks loss to the Giants with a toe injury.dddddddddddd Watson has also had problems staying healthy. The 42nd overall pick in the draft, Watson injured a calf muscle the week before training camp opened and missed most of the preseason. He sat out the first seven regular-season games, then was pressed into duty in the first half of Oaklands Nov. 3 loss to Philadelphia when McCants got hurt. "Tony allows us more of a veteran-type leadership that were lacking out there," offensive co-ordinator Greg Olson said. "We were excited about Menelik Watson but the guy missed all of training camp. Hes getting better every day but its just nice to have the veterans back out there." Watt was indifferent when asked about the Raiders offensive line during a conference call with Bay Area media. "I kind of go in with the mindset that it doesnt matter who I line up across from," said Watt, who has a league-leading 27 sacks since the start of the 2012 season. "Ive seen film on all of (their) offensive linemen. I just go play my game." Oakland quarterback Terrelle Pryor was also back at practice after sitting out Wednesday to rest his sore knee, though undrafted rookie Matt McGloin continued to take the majority of reps with the Raiders starting offence. Allen, however, said that Pryor would start if hes cleared to play. "He got some reps with the first team and well see how he looks tomorrow," Allen said. "All you can do is watch practice and go with what you see on the practice field. If he looks like hes at health then hell be ready to go." Notes: Allen said he called first-round pick D.J. Hayden into his office to check on the rookie cornerback, who has had a rough season so far and is out with a groin injury. "I wanted to make sure that he was doing OK, get his spirits up and get ready to go," Allen said. ... RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) was also held out of practice ' ' '
