This time, they beat San Antworten

Charlie Nicholas provides his predictions for the domestic finals around Europe this weekend - including the FA Cup showdown at Wembley. While that encounter between Manchester United and Crystal Palace takes place on Saturday evening, the Scottish Cup, German Cup, Coppa Italia and the Coupe de France competitions also conclude the same day, followed by Sundays Copa del Rey showdown - live on Sky Sports.Heres what Soccer Saturdays Charlie Nicholas is predicting for all six clashes in his Sky Bet tips... FA Cup final: Crystal Palace v Manchester United (Saturday, 5.30pm) Wilfried Zahas Crystal Palace will lock horns with Anthony Martials Manchester United on Saturday Manchester United are obviously heavy favourites but the big question is whether winning it will be enough to ensure Louis van Gaal keeps his job. Im not sure it is.I dont think it will be as one-sided a final as some are expecting. For as much as United might dominate possession, I cant see them having it all their own way and Palace have dangerous players. The fact that United play with such advanced wide men in Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard means that their full-backs wont have much protection, which is dangerous up against Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha, who will be desperate to prove a point, while Connor Wickham is probably their main goal threat.I do see United getting the job done though and their fans might even be treated to a few goals again! Wayne Rooney is looking fresh now, and Martial has developed into a real match winner.Charlie predicts: Man Utd to win 3-1 and Rooney to score first (40/1 with Sky Bet) Scottish Cup final: Rangers v Hibernian (Saturday, live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 2pm) Rangers celebrate their penalty shoot-out win over Celtic Rangers may have needed penalties to beat Celtic in the semis but they thoroughly deserved the win. They actually out-passed them and played the better football.Hibernian are a good side to watch as well and theres no doubt they have the weapons to hurt Rangers, who are the favourites here. Jason Cummings will come back in, and he showed what a threat he is when they met last month, while Anthony Stokes, on loan from Celtic, will also be a dangerman. However, its been over 100 years since Hibs won this competition and I just think theyll get caught up in the moment. Were going to have a really good final between two good footballing sides. Both teams to score looks an absolute banker and I fancy another youngster, Barrie McKay, to make the difference.Charlie predicts: Rangers to win 3-2 and McKay to score first (130/1 with Sky Bet) Sky Sports pundit Neil McCann is expecting the Scottish Cup final between Rangers and Hibernian to be a tight match DFB-Pokal final: Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund (Saturday, 7pm) Pep Guardiola is doused in beer following Bayerns title triumph Theres always great intrigue when these two meet. Bayern will pass, pass, pass and dominate the game, whereas Dortmund will look to counter-attack with their pace.Theres a bit of debate about whether Pep Guardiolas tenure has been a success, because he hasnt won the Champions League there, but I think he definitely has been because of the way hes made the stars buy into his way.To apply his philosophy is a real achievement and has added to the club and the Bundesliga in general. I think theyll be superior on Saturday, and give him a fitting send-off in his grand finale. Charlie predicts: Bayern to win 3-1 and Robert Lewandowski to score first (33/1 with Sky Bet)Coppa Italia final: AC Milan v Juventus (Saturday, live on Sky Sports 2 HD from 7.40pm) Paulo Dybala has scored 19 times in Serie A for Juventus this season Every time you watch AC Milan play, it feels like youre searching for the ghost of their past. The present doesnt provide much excitement or adventure but theyre still a big club in Italy, more so than we appreciate, so this will be a really intense affair.Juventus are the kings right now, dominating Italian football and winning Serie A at a canter, despite starting the season really poorly. I see that Alvaro Morata, who has been linked with Arsenal and would be a great signing, is ruled out, but theyve got two other top-class strikers in Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala, who looks a real star for the future.Charlie predicts: Juve to win 3-0 and Dybala to score first (28/1 with Sky Bet)Coupe de France final: Marseille v PSG (Saturday, 8pm) Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play his final game for PSG on Saturday Marseille are the great unpredictables. Id almost compare them to Everton, in that we keep hearing about their talented players, such as Michy Batshuayi, but they rarely deliver, winning just three home games in Ligue 1 this season.PSG should be winning this match very comfortably but I suspect Marseille will look to turn it into a scrap and try to stop them playing football, which might work for a while but wont be enough. You cant look past PSG with the big-time players they have and that man with an ego bigger than the Eiffel Tower, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, producing one big final performance.Charlie predicts: PSG to win 2-0 and Ibrahimovic to score first (11/1 with Sky Bet)Copa del Rey final: Barcelona v Sevilla (Sunday, live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 8pm) Charlie expects Barcelonas three frontmen to flourish We all know that Sevilla are the masters of cup competitions but I think their Europa League final efforts could cost them here. That was the big one for them and it will have taken a lot out of them.Barcelona, meanwhile, have had a nice rest since winning La Liga. That will have done them good and theyll be hungry to finish the season on a high. Kevin Gameiros great pace is something that could hurt them but I suspect the stars will be out on Sunday and theyll produce a stellar performance.Charlie predicts: Barca to win 4-1 and Neymar to score first (35/1 with Sky Bet) Charlies acca Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus and PSG all to win by two or more goals - 16/1 here. On Wednesday, the Broncos extended his contract, which was set to expire after this year, through 2017 and added general manager to his title of executive vice-president. Team President Joe Ellis lauded the work Elway has done so far, saying hes "demonstrated great vision and leadership in his role, assembling a championship calibre team and positioning it for sustained success." Elway, who will speak publicly on Friday at the NFL combine in Indianapolis, said in a statement that he was grateful for the opportunity and "we remain relentlessly committed to delivering a world championship" to Denver. The Broncos are coming off their first AFC title in 15 years but they were blown out 43-8 by Seattle in the Super Bowl, a result that was eerily similar to the first three of Elways five Super Bowls before he capped his Hall of Fame playing career with back-to-back titles in 1998 and 99. Asked at his end-of-season news conference last week how long it took him to get over those losses, Elway said, "Im not over them yet. I just added this one to it." The Broncos have gone 37-17 since Elway rejoined the team on Jan. 5, 2011, when owner Pat Bowlen brought him back to rescue a franchise reeling from a nosedive under Josh McDaniels that bottomed out with a 4-12 season, Denvers worst in four decades. Elways first order of business was hiring coach John Fox, who has led Denver to three straight AFC West titles and is expected to sign his own long-term extension soon. Next on Elways to-do list was changing the losing culture that had enveloped his beloved Broncos while he was away honing his managerial skills by running restaurants, car dealerships and an indoor football league franchise. That began with a roster makeover. "I think No. 1, we had to clean up the locker room. We had to get to get the locker room right," Elway said last month. "... that is really the life bread of what the organization is all about. How that locker room fits is the most important thing." Although its early to render a verdict on his draft acumen, Elway has unquestionably hit the jackpot in free agency, first by luring Peyton Manning to Denver in 2012 and then last year by signing Wes Welker and Louis Vasquezz, who in 2013 became the NFLs only free agent signee to earn All-Pro first-team honours.dddddddddddd. Other free agents -- notably Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Terrance Knighton and Shaun Phillips -- helped Denvers defence weather an injury epidemic in which six starters missed significant playing time. "Its been my goal to really continue what Pat Bowlen created in the fact that people want to play here," Elway said last month. "So players will come here late in their career when they know they have a chance to win a world championship." Manning has thrown for 100 touchdowns and 11,336 yards in his two seasons in Denver and this season won his fifth MVP award. He is planning to play in 2014 and perhaps another year after that. Elway has said he doesnt want to just win now, but from "now on," and how backup quarterback Brock Osweiler performs whenever Manning retires will go a long way in determining whether Elways long-term vision will pan out as well as his short-term fixes have. The Broncos ended a six-year playoff drought in 2011 when they went 8-8 with Tim Tebow at quarterback, beating Pittsburgh in the playoffs before losing to New England. Elway lured Manning to Denver that spring and traded away Tebow the next day. "Tim Tebow was so popular, John Elway is the only one who could have pulled that off," wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said. The Broncos went 13-3 in 2012 but a crushing loss to Baltimore in the playoffs left a scar that drove them to another 13-3 season last year. This time, they beat San Diego and New England in the playoffs to reach their first Super Bowl since Elway was leading them from the huddle. Elway has made more than 600 transactions since rejoining the Broncos, and he acknowledged some difficult decisions await as he shapes the roster for 2014. Although the Broncos came up way short in the Super Bowl, Elway promised to navigate this off-season with the notion that this loss will drive Denver to do something no team has done since Buffalo in 1993 -- reach the Super Bowl the year after losing it. "The bottom line is were going to work as hard as we worked this year, if not harder, and continue to do that with the mindset that we want to be world champions," Elway said, "and were going to do everything we can to get there."
